The “Month of Giving” event is our first annual month-long awareness and fundraising event.  The month of September will feature a community-wide kick-off on September 11, 2010 at Washington Square Park in Marysville.  The entire Yuba-Sutter community will be invited with participation from our local agencies, sponsors and other non-profits throughout the Yuba-Sutter area.  We will also feature donation drives hosted at local restaurants and businesses throughout the area for the entire month of September.

Your local Yuba-Sutter United Way is at the crossroads of business and philanthropy with area businesses choosing to make their charitable impact through United Way more than any other local charity.  Contributions distributed to our agencies impact more than 40,000 people in Yuba and Sutter Counties .  This year, we invite you to be a part of the Yuba-Sutter United Way Month of Giving Team!

Funds raised during the “Month of Giving” will go directly to non-profit agencies in Yuba and Sutter Counties. These agencies provide valuable community assistance in helping children succeed, strengthening and supporting families and senior citizens, improving access to healthcare, and promoting independence and economic self-sufficiency.
